PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

AMSOIL Synthetic Supershift Racing Transmission Fluid is specially formulated for automatic transmissions in racing applications and other high horsepower and torque conditions. Supershift provides quick, solid shifting. Automatic transmissions do not slip, helping racers improve on elapsed times. Offering second-to-none transmission friction performance, Supershift reduces wear, extends clutch plate and transmission life and keeps equipment running longer. It contains no friction modifiers, providing high holding capacity for maximum torque transfer and brake power.

In addition to racing applications, Supershift Transmission Fluid is also recommended for wet brakes, clutches and gears of heavy equipment equipped with automatic transmissions.

Friction Characteristics

Supershift Racing Transmission Fluid provides unbeatable performance. Transmissions do not slip with AMSOIL Supershift Fluid, helping racers improve on elapsed times.

AMSOIL Synthetic Supershift Racing Transmission Fluid is compatible with common metallic and nonmetallic friction materials. Its stable frictional characteristics eliminate excessive brake noise and vibration, clutch slippage, friction surface deposits and design material degradation.

Wear Protection

Synthetic Supershift is formulated without viscosity index improvers for superior shear stability. They maintain grade throughout service life due to their superior shear stability, providing long-term protection against equipment wear, even when equipment is frequently subjected to sustained periods of applied pressure or high horsepower and high torque. Clutch plates and transmissions last longer, saving money on transmission repairs.

Extreme Temperature Performance

AMSOIL Synthetic Supershift Racing Transmission Fluid is highly effective against heat and wear, reducing transmission temperature and minimizing or eliminating burned up transmissions. Its superior oxidative and thermal stability inhibits the formation of varnish, deposits and sludge so equipment runs clean. Supershift is an excellent heat transfer fluid and may help hot-running equipment operate up to 50° F cooler and keep them running in their optimal temperature range. In low temperatures, Synthetic Supershift Transmission Fluid flows readily for dependable startup and post-startup protection.

Copper Corrosion, Rust and Foam Inhibition

AMSOIL Synthetic Supershift Racing Transmission Fluid protects equipment from copper corrosion and rust, even during equipment storage. It does not foam in service, protecting equipment from the metal-to-metal contact and wear that occurs with use of foam-filled fluids.

COMPATIBILITY

AMSOIL Synthetic Supershift Racing Transmission Fluid is fully compatible with other fluids used in supershift applications. However, a mixture of AMSOIL Supershift and another oil may offer a shorter service life than pure AMSOIL Synthetic Supershift Racing Transmission Fluid does.

SERVICE LIFE

AMSOIL Synthetic Supershift Racing Transmission Fluid provides two to five times the service life of conventional petroleum fluids if kept free of dirt and moisture.
